Ruth Cherenfant, PA-C is a true Florida native. She was originally born and raised in Naples, FL. Upon graduating high school, she attended Florida Atlantic University for her undergraduate degree. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a minor in psychology in 2017. After graduating college, she took the time to prepare herself for graduate school by gaining medical experience as a rehabilitation tech in an acute setting, volunteering in the community and hospital, completing prerequisite courses, and shadowing medical providers.

In 2022, she was accepted and attended The University of Tampa Physician Assistant Medicine program located in Tampa, FL. There she completed a rigorous 27-month program that follows the traditional medical model of training, providing in-depth analysis of disease processes, diagnosis and treatment. Within the program her clinical rotations focused on family, surgical, internal, pediatric, women’s health, emergency, and behavioral medicine. She graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Medicine degree in December 2024.

As a new grad, she is eager to apply her solid foundation of medical knowledge, clinical skills, and evidence-based medicine in the healthcare setting. Dedicated and devoted to learning and adopting to community needs to be the best advanced practice provider.
