Andrew Van Sickler, MD, RPVI

Dr. Van Sickler earned his medical degree from Florida State University in 2015. He then went on to complete a General Surgery residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina where he was elected to serve as the Chief Resident in his final year. He went on to complete a competitive and rigorous fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He learned advanced open and endovascular techniques in the treatment of the wide breadth of arterial and venous disease. Dr. Van Sickler is Board Certified/Board Eligible in both General and Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Van Sickler has special interest in the diagnosis and management of complex aortic aneurysmal disease, aortic dissections, aortoiliac occlusive disease, peripheral vascular disease, carotid disease, deep venous disease, and thoracic outlet syndrome.

He is happy to be back home in Fort Myers where he was raised. His father is a prominent Nephrologist in town who has served the community for the past 30 years. He wishes to continue his father’s legacy of providing exceptional, compassionate care to the people of Fort Myers and surrounding areas.

Dr. Van Sickler lives with his wife Christina, daughter Aubrey and two dogs Bowden and Ranger. He enjoys fishing, golfing, cycling and spending time with family.
